Hockerill Anglo-European College is a co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11 to 18.
The aim of this site is to provide information for Hockerill students during their study of Computing at hockerill. Other users are welcome to browse and use any information contained in these pages.
Students should become:
- confident users of a range of software.
- able to develop products that are fit for purpose.
- creative in their use of Computer Technology.
- able to explain the purpose of the work they are doing.
- able to communicate safely and securely by electronic means and find the information required for their work by electronic means.
- confident in the language of computer technology and in discussing the main uses of computers in society.
- able to program a computer to perform a planned sequence of tasks and respond to events.
- familiar with the fundamentals of how computers work.
Students should learn Computing skills that will support life long study, the pursuit of personal interests and improve prospective employment in a modern technological society.
